Love of Reading!
We are delighted to have a fully operational library, with an exciting range of up to date books from all the latest children’s authors. We hand-picked every single book that was purchased to include: the children's recommendations; researched texts from professionals within the education sector and our own knowledge of the children. The library has been updated with support from ‘The Friends of Melsonby School’. They have paid for the books, comfy new bean bags and a beautiful rug, that brightens the room. All the children are enjoying their weekly library time and have the opportunity to borrow books to either share with a parent or read independently.
