Due to strategic developments in school the Governors of this small welcoming primary school are looking to employ a full-time (1.0) class teacher MPS 2-3 to join its friendly and enthusiastic staff team. We have motivated and polite children with excellent behaviour who are keen to learn.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher who is enthusiastic and enjoys delivering exciting experiences and opportunities through cross curricular activities. We invite applicants with an interest in teaching in KS2.

We are looking for a strong team player who will work well in a small rural primary school. The successful candidate will be able to foster excellent working relationships with all children including those with SEND as well as maintaining positive communication with parents.

We currently work collaboratively with North and South Cowton Community Primary School and consequently there may be a requirement for the appointed teacher to work across both schools.

Curriculum strengths in English, RE and PE would be desirable but not essential.

There will be a full lesson observation as part of the interview process and more information will be given to short listed candidates.

Visits to our school are most welcome and can be arranged by contacting the school on (01325) 718318.

Dates for school tours: Tuesday 17th April 2018 to Friday 27th April 2018 Application forms and further details are available on our school website (preferred method) or from the school administrator, Miss Julie Rush at the above address/e-mail from Monday 16th of April onwards.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and well-being of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. This post will be subject to an Enhanced DBS clearance and references.

Closing date: Friday 4th May 2018 at 12.00pm

Interview Date: Monday 21st May 2018
